Cheap rent is not always cheap.
Binghamton housing is low quality, old, smelly and a real mess.
A low quality room of $300
including nothing could easily end up at $400.
Add the following:
1. Cable and internet.
2. Electric.
3. High gas bills for
Inefficient heating.
Then attach the
inconveniences of living in such a house. Lack of hot water to everyone just
when you need to go to school. Break downs which do not get repaired. Smell
of gas. Holes in walls Windows which did not open for the last 40 years.
