Frequently asked questions

While you study live with dignity.....

Q. Why are houses so deteriorated in Binghamton?

A. They are old and not upgraded by owners.

Q. Could I be affected by this ?

A. Yes. My daughter was almost electrocuted twice.

Q. What should I do?

A. Keep you parents informed and consult them before you rent.

Q. Why is binghousing.com different?

A. We provide housing with brand new interior which includes new everything. Our systems are all up-to-date and meet all the code requirements.

Q. Your rents appear to be higher!

A. Yes. It is somewhat higher but is a very small sacrifice to live with dignity. It is a whole different style of living. Over the entire year it is going to be insignificant because in any other place you will pay the difference in electric and heating bills.

Q. Why?

A. We insulate our houses and install new heating equipment. So the heating expense will be much lower. Because of the type of heating we use the comfort level in the house is substantially higher.

Q. How does this figure out?

A. In some houses students report a heating expense higher than their rent! So if you pay $250 per room your heating expense could be higher than $250 per room per heating month. Heating in Binghamton is from November thru April. 6 months a year. A bad winter could prolong the heating season. This is significant.

In our houses your heating bill will be much lower and therefore you will save money.
